Deleting your Flit account
Last updated: 17 August 2026
Your account can be deleted at any time, from within the app. This page sets out how, what is removed, what is retained and why, and how long it takes. Export your data first: once the account is deleted, no copy of it remains with us.
Take your data first. In the app, open your profile, then Manage account → Your data → Export. You get a single file holding your clients and their records, their photographs, your appointments and your figures. Once the account is deleted, we cannot produce that file for you.
1. Deleting from the app
- Tap your photo or initials, at the top right.
- Choose Manage account.
- Scroll to Your data and tap Delete…
- Read what will be removed, then tap Continue.
- Type DELETE and confirm.
Deletion starts immediately, and you are signed out. There is no undo, and no grace period during which we could restore it.
2. If you no longer have the app
Write to support@flitapp.ai from the email address on the account, asking us to delete it. We verify that the request comes from the account holder, then delete it and confirm by email, within 30 days and usually within two working days. No charge is made for this. Where the request cannot be verified as yours, we will say so rather than delete another person's records.
3. What is deleted
- Your account and your sign-in credentials.
- Every client file: contact details, intake and health answers, signed consent forms, lash maps, treatment records and notes.
- Every photograph, including try-on images and anything on your booking page.
- Your appointments, your income and expense records, and your settings.
- Your public booking page, which stops working straight away.
- Your pending booking requests.
- Our access to your Google Calendar, revoked at Google the moment the account goes.
It goes from our live systems immediately, and from any backup copy we hold within 30 days. It is removed from every device signed into the account.
4. What is not deleted, and why
- Billing records. Invoices and payment records are held by the payment provider that sells the subscription, and tax law requires them to be kept, typically for 5 to 7 years. They contain your name, email and billing country. They contain nothing about your clients.
- The "Flit" calendar in your own Google account. That calendar and its events live in your Google account, not ours. We stop being able to reach it, but we do not delete it: it is yours, and it is your record of appointments you actually worked. Delete it yourself in Google Calendar if you want it gone.
- Anything you exported or downloaded is on your own device, and stays there.
5. Cancelling is not deleting
Cancelling your subscription stops the next payment and nothing else: your data stays, so you can come back to it. Deleting removes everything. Our Refund & Cancellation Policy covers cancelling, and clause 21 of the Terms of Service covers what happens to data in each case. If a subscription simply lapses without being deleted, the data waits 90 days, and we warn you by email before anything is removed.
6. If you are the client of a lash artist
Your record belongs to the lash artist who created it, not to us: ask them to delete it, and they can do it in a tap. If you cannot reach them, write to support@flitapp.ai and we will help them act on your request. See clause 2.3 of our Privacy Policy.
